Computer Classes at Puskarich

Puskarich Public Library has partnered with Connect Ohio to offer free computer training sessions to Harrison County residents. There is a series of three classes that are scheduled from 2:30—4:00 p.m. at the Puskarich Public Library. The sessions offered will provide basic Internet training such as computer basics, and introduction to the Internet and email basics. Please call 740.942.2623 to register.

Design Your Own Jewelry at Scio Branch Library

Making jewelry is fun! You can make earrings, bracelets, pins, necklaces, and rings to match any outfit in your wardrobe.
Join us at the Scio Branch Library on Saturday February 11 at 1:00 p.m. for a hands on class where Cherilynn Morgan will demonstrate the basics of jewelry making. Then create that
special piece to go with your attire.
The cost is $20 for instruction and supplies and is payable in advance.

Ancestry.com for Beginners at Puskarich Public Library

Do you want to learn the fundamentals of tracking and tracing your ancestry? A beginning Ancestry.com class is being offered at the Puskarich Public Library on February 21 at 6:00 p.m. Use Ancestry.com to search historical records, stories & publications, and photos & maps from 1790 to 1930! Many images from the U.S. Census, as well as other local documents, are available for viewing and printing. This introductory class will explain the scope of Ancestry.com and will show you effective ways of using its search options to track down records of your interest.
