The Puskarich Public Library System is one of Harrison County's most treasured assets. The library provides stellar library service to area residents. With locations in Scio, Freeport, and Cadiz, the library reaches out to the local communities with book clubs, programs, computer classes and access to over 2 million items.
The Puskarich Public Library Endowment Fund was established to help guarantee the continued excellence of one of Harrison County's foremost public services in the community - the Puskarich Public Library System. The endowment was established in 2008 through a charitable gift from Cravat Coal Company and continues to grow thanks to donors associated with our community.
The Cleveland Foundation manages the library's endowment fund, investing them for prudent growth. Each year, a percentage of the endowment is available for the library to use. The Cleveland Foundation is also willing to lend its expertise in planned giving to donors who wish to give to the Puskarich Public Library Endowment Fund through bequests, charitable gift annuities, life insurance and charitable remainder trusts.
